Consulting & Training

I can help with beginner to intermediate use of MAXQDA, a popular qualitative data analysis (QDA) software, as well as introducing qualitative research in general, the code creation and application process regardless of software, and introducing QDA software in general.

I charge $75/hour for one-on-one consulting services, whether in-person or using Google Hangouts. Initial consultations are a minimum of 1 hour; subsequent consultations are a minimum of 30 minutes; additional time is charged per quarter hour.

Folks often consult with me after they’ve gone through one or all of the trainings listed below, when they need a bit more one-on-one help with setting up their projects and/or thinking through the coding process. For regular training sessions, half the fees are credited towards one-hour consultations (e.g. $150 training = $75 credit & $100 training = $50 credit).
