My experience within education includes teaching, course design, research assistance, program evaluation, project coordination, student employee and intern supervision, and provision of student support services. Within the social service field, I have experience with program management, project coordination, employee and intern supervision, crisis intervention, counseling, case management, and multicultural education, among other areas.
While engaging in doctoral studies, I’m building off my previous experiences and studies to develop as a critical action-oriented researcher and educator capable of addressing issues of privilege and oppression within and through higher education. After completing doctoral studies, I hope to secure a professorship in order to continue investigating and teaching about social problems, as well as contributing to their betterment.
